Typical Schedule of Activities

• Swimming: Campers swim daily in our lake and/or pool.

• Boating and Fishing: Our waterfront provides opportunity for row boating and fishing.

• Sports: Campers participate in a variety of popular athletic activities, including soccer, flag football, volleyball and basketball. Our expansive indoor recreation center means that campers can stay active rain or shine!

• Corral/Petting Zoo: Enjoy petting the goats, chickens, horse, and pot-bellied pig!

• Nature Exploration: The woods and streams surrounding camp are alive with opportunities for outdoor learning experiences.

• Hiking: The numerous walking trails give campers an opportunity to see the wonders of nature, like woodland creatures and waterfalls, close-up.

• Challenge Ropes Courses: At the high and low ropes courses, campers learn to deal with successes, failures, and their related feelings in a non-competitive, non-judgmental setting.

• Arts, Crafts, and Ceramics: Campers complete projects through different methods and materials and learn how to use specialized tools and equipment.

• Music, Drama, and Dance: Campers participate in a wide range of movement activities, sing-alongs, and other forms of self-expression.

• Game Rooms and Playgrounds: From ping-pong to miniature golf to swings and slides, Camp Ramapo has all kinds of indoor and outdoor play areas for campers to enjoy!

• Free Play: The hour each day that campers get to choose the activity that they would like to do most.

• Special Events/Evening Activities: Get ready to enjoy special activities such as a Lake Party, Carnival, Camp Carton Cup (a day of friendly competition), Movie Party, Cookouts and Campfires in the woods.
